HOW TRY BEFORE YOU BUY WORKS:

Checkout 1-3 items you want to view in person. You’ll only be charged a $10 refundable deposit.

Touch, feel, and see the clubs at home for 7 days before making a purchase decision.

Make sure to keep clubs in their wrapping throughout the trial period to prevent damage.

Keep what you love, send back the rest. A restocking fee applies only if all items are returned

How does Try Before You Buy work?

  1. Order online: Add up to 3 items to your cart to view at home. Only pay a $10 refundable deposit.
  2. View at home: Once your items are delivered to your home, you have 7 days to touch, feel, and see the clubs in person.
  3. Decide: If you love them, keep them! At the end of your trial period, you will be automatically charged for the items you decide to keep. All other items can be returned using the prepaid shipping label.

Can I remove the wrapping from the golf clubs?

Your trial period is meant to help assess the look, feel, and appearance of the golf clubs. If the wrapping is removed or if the club is used at a range/course, the items are considered used and will not be eligible for return.

How long is my trial period?

You have 7 days to try out your items. 48 hours before the end of your trial period, you’ll receive an email reminder with a countdown timer.

When does my trial period start?

Your trial period starts when all of the items from your Try Before You Buy order are delivered.

How many items can I try at once?

Try Before You Buy allows you to try up to a maximum of 3 items at once.

Who is eligible for Try Before You Buy?

Try Before You Buy is available for customers shipping to the United States only.

Do I have to pay for returns shipping?

Returns shipping for any items you do not wish to keep is covered by Robin. You will only incur a $25 restocking fee if all items in your Try Before You Buy order are returned. If you keep at least 1 item, the $25 restocking fee is waived.

Is the deposit refundable?

The deposit charged upon your initial checkout will be applied toward the cost of any items you decide to keep. If you return all items in your order, your deposit is refunded.

How do I track my order?

You can find the tracking information for your order in the shipping confirmation email that is sent as soon as your items are fulfilled and shipped.

How do I return items in my order?

For any items you do not wish to keep, please contact hello@robingolf.com or use our chat bubble in the lower left corner of the screen.

Why do I see a charge authorization on my credit card statement when initially checking out?

For some orders (especially first-time orders), a temporary authorization charge may be processed to verify the validity of the credit card. The charges can vary from $1 - $100 depending on the total order value.

Note that this charge is automatically and immediately canceled, but may remain visible as a pending 'authorization charge' for a few business days. Authorization charges are never held for longer than a few seconds and should be removed from your statement within a few days of being processed.

How will I know that my trial period has started?

You will receive an email notification once all items in your order have been delivered. The email will come from sender, .

What if my items are delivered separately?

In the case that your order is shipped in multiples, your trial period starts when the final package is delivered to you.

Can I order multiple styles, colors, and sizes?

Yes! You can add different sizes and colors of the same item to your order.

Can I check out with both Try Before You Buy items and non-Try Before You Buy items in the same order?

Yes, you can check out with a mixed cart that includes both TBYB and non-TBYB items where you will only need to pay up front for the non-TBYB items.

What happens if I don’t keep anything I ordered?

Simply send back the items through the Blackcart Customer Portal within your trial and drop off period and you will only be charged a $25 restocking fee.

Can I use a discount code?

Yes, you can absolutely use a discount code with Try Before You Buy. You will have the option to enter in your discount code on the 2nd page of checkout after you’ve entered in your shipping address. If you decide to keep any discounted items, we’ll apply the code at the end of your trial period.

Can I pick up and return my order at one of your stores?

Unfortunately, the team at the stores will not have access to the system to be able to complete the order for you. You can use your online account to keep and send back items.

Why do I need to provide my credit card information when checking out?

Your credit card will not be charged for any Try Before You Buy items when initially checking out; however, we still ask for your payment details. This is to make it easier for you when deciding which items you want to keep (and pay for), after you’ve had a chance to try them out.
